We are especially excited about bringing the new 110sq m/h 3.2m wide UJV55-320 printer to drupa

Mimaki will be descending on drupa 2016 with its full product portfolio of solvent and UV printers and cutting tables. Drupa is the world’s largest printing trade show, scheduled from May 31st to June 10th in Düsseldorf, and Mimaki will be exhibiting solutions that serve a wide range of market needs, from indoor and outdoor signage to industrial, packaging and promotional products. Mimaki will be located in Hall 09, Stand A04 at the show.

“We are especially excited about bringing the new 110sq m/h 3.2m wide UJV55-320 printer to drupa,” says Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe. “This printer was recently launched at FESPA Digital and at least 30 units were sold during that show. We expect drupa attendees to be equally impressed with the product. But our exhibit won’t stop there - not by a long shot. Our experts will be on hand to walk visitors through the portfolio elements that are most likely to bring them additional revenue when added to their existing production platforms. We’ll also have lots of outstanding examples of output and applications from the various printers and cutting tables. So there’ll certainly be something for everyone on Mimaki’s stand!”

On its stand, Mimaki will also show the Mimaki UJF-7151plus Production LED UV flatbed printer for direct printing on various substrates at the very highest, industrial production level of quality. Mimaki's UJF-6042 LED flatbed UV printer will feature alongside the smaller desktop LED UV UJF-3042HG and UJF-3042FX printers. Its high-performance flatbed printers – the JFX500-2131 and JFX200-2513, along with the UJV500-160 UV roll-to-roll industrial printer will be present, in addition to a selection of JV and CJV solvent-based production printers and printer/cutters.

The full range of machines are available in the UK and Ireland through the specialist reseller network of Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services Ltd and the company’s National Sales Manager – Industrial Products; Stuart Cole welcomes the exposure that drupa will give to the product range, commenting; “We believe visitors will find enormous value in being able to review such a comprehensive range of kit, all in one location – providing the ideal opportunity to identify the right machine to meet their specific requirements.”

Another unique solution from Mimaki on display at drupa will be its Kebab option which can be used with the UJF-3042HG and the UJF-6042 for 360-degree direct UV printing on cylindrical objects ranging from 30mm to 330mm in length and 10mm to 110mm in diameter. “This is always something of a show-stopper for Mimaki,” adds Cole. “Visitors are always surprised at how easy the Kebab option makes it for printing operations to personalise or customise cylindrical promotional products to generate an additional high-value revenue stream.”

In addition to the machines; an outstanding variety of application examples will be displayed, ranging from retail and point-of-purchase signage to promotional products, such as printing on pens and iPhone covers. Visitors to the stand will also be able to see samples produced using Mimaki's market leading inks as well as having the opportunity to discuss with an expert which inks are best suited to their specific applications, including Orange, Light Black and Silver inks which are available for certain printers, extending the print gamut, with the added bonus of adding metallic effects in a cost-effective way.

“We encourage one-on-one discussions with our Mimaki experts,” concludes Horsten. “Our highly skilled and experienced team are equipped to focus on the visitor’s specific needs and make strategic recommendations for the all important aspect of business growth. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and discussing how we can help them to make their business even more profitable in the future.”
