How does it work?

Mimaki JV33 / JV5 Series + Mimaki CG-FX Print & Cut solution

• Use your free Mimaki FineCut plugin to set your job up from standard design software applications. Included with every cutter is the free Mimaki FineCut plugin for CorelDRAW! and Adobe Illustrator. Allowing you to work within your existing vector graphics software, the Mimaki FineCut plugin adds a toolbar and contour cut functionality, directly into your workflow, along with many powerful outline extraction tools to assist in the creation of the cut path.
• Print your job. Just set your image up, apply the register marks at the press of a button and export, then step the image out in the RIP.
• Cut your job. Once printed, simply return to the software, choose your cut path, number of repeats and cut. The Mimaki cutters are unique in that they can automatically detect continuous (multiple) registration marks — enabling you to cut your last image as accurately as the first.
• Die-cutting. To produce a die-cut, having cut your vinyl off the backing sheet, simply swap your blade holder to the front cutting strip (reformable foam rubber) and then half cut through the backing. The stickers are held in place with tiny tabs, ready to press out to deliver to your customer.
• Produce perfectly cut stickers every time!

Mimaki CJV30 Series — Integrated Printer / Cutter

• Setup your job in FineCut & RasterLink Pro (all included with your CJV30 Series) or use SimpleStudio (again, in the box).
• Let the CJV30 do the work! Almost as fast as the solution above, the CJV30 will automatically print your job, move the pinch rollers as required, register and cut without any user intervention.
• Die-cut by changing the blade and cutting strip
• Produce perfectly cut stickers every time!
