Product Highlights
High quality device profiles
Mimaki Profile Master II (MPM II) helps to easily create a high quality ICC device profile that corresponds to media / ink differences.
Once a device profile is created, a consistent flow of colour management is possible. Physical work requiring adjustment by visual checks can be drastically reduced, and accuracy will be stable. Wasteful output required by colour adjustment is also substantially reduced, resulting in cost reduction.
Profiles can be created easily, with no special knowledge required. By simply following instructions on wizard screens, device profile can be created in about two hours.
Easy automatic colour matching
Colour matching of specified colours, special colours, and corporate colours is made easy with the high-reliability colorimeter 'Eye One' and the colour picker system, requiring no special skills.
Colour picker system
The colour picker system automatically converts a spot colour to the closes CMYK values by directly reading a colour chip. It will compute CMYK values based on printer/media properties and allow an operator to check ?E*. The colour picker system is equipped with the PANTONE Colour Library.
*Colour differences are measured based on ?E.
Calibration and equalisation
When a print head is replaced, colours may slightly differ. The printer calibration detects and adjusts colour differences* to maintain colour consistency.
Equalisation helps to create consistency between the same type of printers*. It allows quick responses to an urgent or bulk order by running several printers simultaneously.
*Colour differences are measured based on ?E.
